Along with his faith, David
was introduced to the outdoors as a child and has been
engaged in both ever since.

He describes himself as a rabid outdoorsman, meaning
it’s in his blood - far beyond the point of being
a diehard. He got his start guiding
over 20 years ago and has a lifetime of experiences and accomplishments to draw
upon. Dave had qualified for state and nationals in his rookie year in the Bassin'
America circuit and has been ranked 31 of 1,276 nationwide. He has two registered
150-class Pope & Young white-tails and has a client with a 160-class. Dave's
trophy room also boasts numerous other mounts and a hat with more mallard curls
than can be counted.
"One of my greatest joys is to out-produce those who think their success is
directly related to the price of their equipment."
Dave has proven this time and again, both in the hunting and fishing arenas. He
gets a high level of personal satisfaction demonstrating how experience and skill
can prevail over what money buys alone, and his results speak for themselves.

Listen to what another outdoor guru
has to say....
"David Mikrut has been cruising the forests and sloughs of the Mississippi backwaters
since before he could walk. I've known him since I was
12 years old, and some of
my fondest boyhood memories include Dave, an outboard motor, and a 12-gauge shotgun
chasing waterfowl on the big river. Few people understand the river valley and the
critters that dwell in it as well as Dave. It's in his blood. And like most river
rats, he's got character and personality in spades. Spend a day with Mikrut, and
you'll have an experience you'll never forget."
